Project Lifecycle

At Fifty One Degrees, our mission is to create AI-driven solutions that enhance both employee and customer experiences. We commit to a delivery approach that is not only highly efficient but also a genuinely positive experience for everyone involved.

How to use a Proof of Concept

What is a Proof of Concept?

A PoC, or “Proof of Concept,” is a small-scale demonstration that proves an idea is feasible. It helps you validate whether a product, process  or feature can work in practice — before committing to building a full solution.

Why do we create a Proof of Concept?

1. Risk Reduction – A PoC helps identify potential challenges early on.

2. Faster Decision-Making – It gives clear, hands-on evidence of an idea’s viability.

3. Cost-Effective – We invest fewer resources than if we built you the entire product to validate whether it will be effective.

What to Ignore During a PoC Test?

1. Polish & Perfection – A PoC’s user interface might be rough. Don’t get hung up on design details right now.

2. Restricted Feature Set – Many features are not implemented yet, so please focus on the core functionality for the features that are in-scope for the PoC.

3. Scalability – The PoC often runs on minimal infrastructure. It’s not meant to handle a massive user load in this phase, and they are often clunky.

How to Submit your Feedback

Please group all of your feedback together with your colleagues and send it to us by email in one file – often a spreadsheet is the easiest. Please try to send it to us within a couple of days of receiving the PoC so we can get on with fixing any issues.

How to use a Beta Release

What is a Beta Release?

A beta release is a pre-launch version of our AI agent that’s functional but still under active development. It’s close to the final product, but we need real-world feedback to refine it before an official launch. Beta testing is often done by your team first, then after that, we perform beeta testing with your customers.

Why Do We Launch in Beta?

1. User Validation – We want to see how our AI agent performs for actual users in real scenarios.

2. Bug & Performance Checks – Beta testing helps identify any hidden glitches or bottlenecks.

3. Targeted Improvements – By observing usage patterns, we can fine-tune the AI’s responses and overall experience.

What to Focus on During Beta Testing?

Please try to focus on testing the way the AI solution works and the answers or output it gives. For example, please try to think of some difficult scenarios and test it with those. How it looks at this stage is important, but not as important as making sure it does what it’s supposed to do.
